Editing Part 1-
Instructions-
In this task we had to work with our shoulder partners and complete #1 in the "BEFORE YOU START" page in our online textbooks
on page 48 in our text (2.5 Editing). Given the information, we then stated what movie or TV show we selected, the episode/and scene.
As well as answering the questions posed in #2.
How I completed this task-
In this task, my shoulder partner and I chose a clip from the movie Home Alone and gave our thoughts on changing of the scenes and our point of view on the scene. Below is what I submitted.
Home Alone (1990) - Thirsty for More? Scene (4/5) | Movieclips
1. Home alone- Thirsty for more, robbers come into house scene.
2. We clapped 39 times. While watching the extracts we felt overwhelmed. The reason for this is because the scenes were changing frequently and fast. The durations of the shots can cause the audience to feel tense when the scenes change. I think the editors' intentions in using different shots were to highlight the dialogue and point of view of the scene.
